The first two weeks of blogging

My first two weeks of blogging have been very interesting to me. Initially, I was a little worried because blogging was completely new for me. But I think that I managed it quite good so far. Honestly, the Technorati website almost made me go crazy! There's such a huge amount of information that I hardly knew where to start. However, I think blogging is a funny way of comunicating with people you don't even know but who have the same interests and it's useful at the same time. That's what makes blogs so special. As far as the improvement in language skills is concerned, I think blogs can help a lot. I remember the scientific blog which one girl of my group suggested and, I must say that I immediately thought that it would improve my English if I read those kind of blogs more often. Of course, when we are commenting on our members' posts' we should pay attention to grammar mistakes or false friends and so on. None of us is a native speaker and therefore, we all still make mistakes. So we have to make sure not to adapt other people's mistakes...
I really enjoyed creating my own blog. There's nothing really special about my blog but, I'm kind of proud of it anyway. Maybe that's because two weeks ago I hardly knew anything about the blogsphere and now, I have one on my own.
I see you soon. Caroline

Hi Caroline!
it's true...I like blogging because it can be a very useful and original tool to improve our English and to express our creativity but it's quite hard to write, read and comment blogs every week..moreover I prefer real friends and interactions face to face!
I think you created a nice blog too...I really like the title and the choice of the colours!
As regards the picture of Hundertwasserhaus...I took it during my Erasmus in Vienna almost two years ago...I love it!!!

See you!

hey Caroline,
First of all, thanks for you comment (I like when people agree with me:)..kidding)
I agree with you on the point of getting in touch with people, who have the same interests. For me that is probably the most valuable thing I've got from it so far. For example, the other day, one of the owners of the blogges that I reviewed on made a comment on my blog. Isn't that exciting:)?
The only thing I would recomend to change on your blog is to space your posts into more paragrapfs, so it is easier to read online. Have a good long weekend!

Hey Caroline,
yes, I know, there's a long, cold and possibly rainy winter ahead, but what can I say? I know it, and it depresses me!! ;)
But you're right after all. I have to admit that last friday I was felling blue not just because of the weather, but mainly because I knew that the following night (that is last Saturday) I would be plying my band's last show... :(
Yep, I don't want to admit completely even now, but I'm really quite sad about the fact we broke up. It was unavoidable anyway, because we really were not getting along as we used to anymore, and we had developed different views on many issues, but still...
We shared many nice experiences, and now it's over. We went on tour (the four of us and the occasional friends/roadies stuffed with us in the van) to Spain and France one year, and then to Austria and Switzerland, and another time we toured Southern Italy and Sicily and we used to play at least twice a month during the winter around Northern Italy, so you know...
Yeah, I have to confess that you totally got me there: it was not about the rain after all!!!
See you!
